Terms of Use

These Terms (“Terms”) govern your use of INVIX mobile applications (the “Apps”), including Ember, MoonChat, and any related services we provide. By installing or using an App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Apps.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country) to use the Apps. If you use the App on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials safe. You must give us accurate information at sign-up and update it if it changes. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

3. Acceptable use

• Do not use the Apps to break any law or to harm anyone.
• Do not reverse-engineer, scrape, or attack the Apps.
• Do not upload content you do not have the right to share.
• Do not use the Apps to generate content that is illegal, sexually explicit involving minors, or designed to harass, stalk, or threaten others.

4. AI features

The Apps offer AI-style features (e.g. Ember’s Analyst / Composer / Simulator, MoonChat’s cosmic chat). Output is generated either by an OpenAI-compatible model or a deterministic local fallback. Output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation. The Apps are not a substitute for professional advice— medical, mental-health, legal, financial, astrological, or otherwise — and they are not an emergency service.

You are responsible for how you use AI output. Do not rely on it for decisions that could harm you or others.

5. Content you submit

You keep ownership of the content you submit. By submitting content you grant us a limited licence to store and process it as necessary to operate the App. We do not use your private content to train external models.

6. Payments

At launch the Apps do not offer real-money in-app purchases or subscriptions. If we introduce paid features in the future, those will be governed by additional terms shown to you in the App before any charge.

7. Privacy

Our handling of your data is described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers

The Apps are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Apps will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, INVIX is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Apps. Our aggregate liability for any direct damages is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim (if you have paid nothing, the limit is zero).

10. Termination

You can stop using the Apps and delete your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law, with notice where reasonable.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. If a change is material we will update the “Effective date” and, where required, notify you in the App. Continued use after that date means you accept the update.

12. Governing law

Unless otherwise required by mandatory local law, these Terms are governed by the laws applicable at INVIX’s place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
